FRIDAY morning: Wear your Indiana Soccer Camp T-shirt to camp!
Absolutely. Many of the campers are beginners once they enter this camp. This camp is designed for all skill levels. We encourage your child to bring a friend that has not yet been introduced to this exciting sport to help spread the passion for soccer in schools around Bloomington.
If your son is excelling in his/her camp group, the staff coach and camp director will make a decision whether or not your son would benefit by moving to an older age group.
Grandview Elementary has given Indiana Day Camp tremendous help by allowing our camp to use their facilities. During times of inclement weather we will have access to the gymnasium for short periods to continue teaching camp skills as well as the lunch room and auditorium for soccer films and trivia. Please remind your child bring indoor shoes with him/her each day to camp. Camp will be canceled only when Karst Park determines fields completely unplayable due to consistent wet conditions. Refunds cannot be given for any partial cancellations due to weather, as the camp expenses do not change (leasing fields, equipment, staff salaries all stay the same regardless). In the last ten years, only 1.5 days of camp total have been canceled. We do everything we can do to stay on schedule, but must respect the field maintenance and school custodial decisions.
Please make every effort to be on time for pick up. However, a camp director will always stay in the parking lot after camp until every camper has been picked up.
Yes, each child should bring a water bottle. It is recommended that Full Day campers bring a larger water jug. There are water coolers available for refilling jugs.
Yes. We will keep a lost and found box close to concessions throughout the day. Please double check your child every day upon picking him/her up to make sure they have their cleats, shoes, shin guards, lunch box, and water bottle as lost and found items add up quickly.
Those who cannot attend Day Camp for medical or other reasons will be refunded all but a $25 processing and handling fee. Cancellations may be made until 8:00 am on the first day of camp. All cancellations must be completed in writing by email to info@indianasoccercamp.com.
